Perfect Location Just Steps to Mission Beach!

I messaged the host prior to booking to inquire about the parking situation. I was told there was ample on site parking, enough for multiple cars. This was a lie. There is a one car garage and the rest is street parking which is impossible to find, so we ended up having to park the second vehicle blocks away. I asked about this prior to booking for a reason. Has they been honest, I wouldn’t have booked with them. <br/>There were ants in the bathroom on the main floor which I messaged about. There was ant spray under the sink I was able to use. We ended up finding ants in every bathroom and having to spray them all. <br/>The house is in need of some repairs - there’s paint peeling inside, and scuff marks on several walls. <br/>The location is what saves this rental for us. Steps from the beach, great restaurants nearby, and in a relatively quiet location were great.

The location was cool, and the stay was great. The only challenges were that when we pulled up, we had to wait for the cleaning crew to finish. It took about 30 minutes, and we had to wait in the garage before we could settle in. It’s kind of funny because if you want to check in early, it costs $45.00. The grill at the place is terrible—literally falling apart. Lastly, one of the TVs was broken.<br/>Overall, despite those issues, we still had a really enjoyable stay and appreciated the comfort and convenience of the place.

The location was awesome and very centralized to great bars and restaurants. Beach access and bay access was close and walking distance. House was hot even with every fan running. The outdoor space was uncomfortable, table and chairs were not proportional to the space. The roof top deck was not comfortable with no views or breeze. The floors were very dirty. Worst part there were ants everywhere and in the beds. The house spelt like raid the entire time. Lights did it work in several rooms. There was no patio light so couldn’t be on the patio in the evening or cook on the grill in the dark. The door lock malfunctioned and couldn’t access multiple times, was having to leave side doors open to get in, smoke detectors were missing. Screens were missing so couldn’t keep some of the windows open to air out the house. Water pressure in the top floors was very weak. No air conditioning. This place needs some major maintenance and fumigation. I will not rent again.
